Tourism Sectoral Committee
The Tourism Sectoral Committee facilitates discussion on issues affecting the Tourism Sector in order to promote tourism development in the country has been supporting the implementation of the National Tourism Master Plan that was developed in 2006.

The Tourism Promotion Authority (TPA) is spearheading the implementation of this Plan and had remarkably progressed in setting up the implementation process as well as initiating a number of priority activities this year. To ensure the economic benefits of tourism are optimised for all stakeholders strong, stable partnerships are needed between the private sector and affected communities. This is where the CIMC Tourism Sectoral Committee can potentially contribute – through encouraging stakeholders to participate in the planning and implementation of the Plan.
